At Cheap Saddle Shop, we understand that finding the perfect equestrian gear is as important as the perfect fit for your horse. While we carefully select our riding boots, helmets, and tack to meet high standards, we know sometimes returns are necessary. Our policy is designed with the same care we put into choosing our Ariat boots and Charles Owen helmets.

Our Return Promise

We accept returns within 15 days of receiving your order for most items in original condition (unworn, with tags attached). Like checking your horse’s girth before mounting, please inspect items immediately upon arrival.

Important Exceptions:

For safety and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Custom-fitted items (like specialty bits or made-to-order tack)
  • Personalized products (monogrammed belts or engraved bit accessories)
  • Hygiene-sensitive items (ear plugs, certain grooming tools)

Simple 3-Step Return Process

  1. Request Authorization

    • Whether you prefer exchange or refund
  2. Package Your Items
    Once approved, securely repackage items with original tags and packaging. Include the original packing slip.

    We recommend using a trackable shipping method. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is due to our error.

Refund Timeline & Methods

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Processing Time: 3-5 business days
  • Refund Method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Timing:
    • Credit cards: 5-10 business days after processing
    • PayPal: 3-5 business days after processing

Exchanges will be shipped once the return is processed, with the same shipping options as original orders.
